Following our latest news article of 7th October, the Local Government Association has shared update on the Local Government Services (Green Book) Pay Negotiations 2022/23.
GMB announced the results of its ‘Green Book’ pay consultation. Its members have voted to accept the employers’ final offer by 67% to 33%.
Unite announced the results of its pay consultation. Its members have voted to reject the employers’ final offer by 78% to 22%.
However, the full Trade Union Side is not due to meet until Tuesday 1st November to discuss the results of their respective consultations and to decide whether to formally accept the employers’ offer. Therefore, employers should not implement the pay offer until the NJC pay circular, which constitutes a formal collective agreement, has been issued.
