GLPC Pay Award for London Schools 2023/24

On 1st November 2023 the GLPC (Greater London Provincial Council) issued a circular confirming that, in light of the NJC pay settlement, the pay spines and allowances under the London Agreement for 2023-24 will, with effect from 1 April 2023, be uprated by:

  • An increase of £2,226 on Outer London pay points up to and including spine point 48. Above these pay points an increase of 3.88 per cent will apply.
  • An increase of £2,352 on Inner London pay points up to and including spine point 50. Above these pay points an increase of 3.88 per cent will apply.
  • Allowances, including overtime rates, to be increased by 3.88%

Local authorities currently covered by the London Agreement are Barking and Dagenham, Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Camden, Croydon, Ealing, Enfield, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Haringey, Harrow, Havering, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, Kingston upon Thames, Lambeth, Lewisham, Merton, Newham, Redbridge, Richmond upon Thames, Southwark, Sutton, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth, City of Westminster.
